short film_ final anaylsis

Genre:
Horror
Suspence

Cast:
Young Adult-Brother Bill
Infected Teenager-Brother Tommy
Background Characters(Youths and Side Viewers)- Brother Michael and Brothers friends
·

Basic plot:
Young adult is on his way home from work when he sees an young boy laying helplessly on the ground. He approaches the teen to discover he is infected with an unknow diesease. The teen bites him on the arm and after struggling to get away the male runs home. After several days the male begins to change.

How I would make it:
I have the characters sorted as my brothers agreeded to help me. I am able to create makeup for the infecteds face and the young males changed appearance at the end of the film.

Possible titles:
Flesh
207 hours( Took the male 207 hours to fully transform into the unknown monster)
Unpredictable
·

What the themes would be:
Fear, Transformation, Revenge.
Films that share these themes are:
Warm Bodies
Walking Dead
Shaun of the dead
Dawn of the dead.
Because it is based on a Zombie outline it is not an orignal idea, however and the zombie takes ages to fully transform you are able to witness the multiple changes which make my film different from other zombie\infected films.

The intended audience:
I would like it to be a teen audience, ranging from the ages 15-18 so the people are old enough to understand what is happening when watching the film and are able to follow the plot as the narrative develops. The film is aimed at both males and females however; I feel that males will feel more intrigued as it is a gory and more graphic film compared to what females tend to watch.

The audience that i feel will enjoy this production the most are previous Zombie fans. This is because they know what to expect throughout and understand the extent as to what the mise en scene will be like.

What I am trying to tell my audience:
I am trying to tell my audience that approching strangers in the street can always be risky regardless of their age, so the should alwats consider the cosequences and think strongly of their actions.
